About Laarpi
The people and company behind Laarpi, what ships today, and the editorial policy behind every page on this site.
Laarpi is a place to take a website from a thought to a finished site. Laarpi's agent, SI, asks the few questions that matter, writes the brief, then designs and builds the site. You direct it in plain words or by pointing at the page, and it publishes the result with sign-in, data and payments connected on accounts you own.
This page covers who stands behind Laarpi, how to reach us, what is real today, and how the pages on this site are made.
Who we are
Laarpi is made by the Laarpi team. The same people build the product, write and check this site, and made the eight concept sites in the showcase.
Every guide and comparison on this site is credited to "The Laarpi team". We don't put invented names or stock portraits on pages. Named profiles for the people who edit and sign off our pages will be added here with their consent, each with a two-line bio and links to their own public profiles.
The company
Paid Laarpi plans are sold through Polar, which acts as merchant of record: Polar processes payments, charges any sales tax or VAT and issues receipts. Our registered company details (legal name, address and register) will be published in the reviewed versions of our terms and privacy policy, which are plain-language drafts pending legal review today.

How the showcase was made
The eight showcase sites are concept sites for invented brands: a record label, a watchmaker, a synth module, a ceramics studio, an ocean expedition, a night-garden exhibition, a festival and a restaurant. The Laarpi team made them with Laarpi's library and process, with people steering every step. They were not produced end to end by SI.

Each one has a write-up with what it set out to do, how the 3D and motion were built, every open-source asset and its licence, and its load time measured on a throttled phone profile. Start with Meridian M-01, a watch page you can wind and take apart.
When SI builds sites on its own, we will publish them unedited, labelled "Built by SI", with the time and cost of each build taken from our logs.
How our pages are made
This is our editorial and automation policy. It applies to every guide, comparison, example page and product page on this site.
- Drafting. A draft may be written with help from AI models, from a brief that names the reader's question, the sources and the first-party material the page must use.
- Editing and sign-off. A person on our team edits each page for accuracy and usefulness, and signs it off before it publishes. Nothing publishes on a schedule alone.
- Facts about other products. Every claim about another tool links to that tool's own page or documentation and carries the month it was checked. Comparison pages are re-checked every month.
- Numbers. Every number comes from a measurement we can repeat (with the method and date stated) or from a named source. We don't estimate and present it as measured.
- Our own product. Pages describe only what ships on the day they are checked. Anything still in development is called planned.
- Provenance. Showcase sites say who made them and how. Nothing made by our team is presented as SI's unedited output.
- Prices. Laarpi's prices on every page come from one source, so they match the pricing page and show in your currency.
- Corrections. Found something wrong? Email [email protected] with the page address. We check it against the source and fix it, and a substantive fix updates the page's date.
What we hold ourselves to
- No invented social proof. No made-up testimonials, user counts or logos of companies that never used us. Views and remixes in the community count real visits.
- Credited assets. 3D models, lighting and textures come from open libraries under CC0, CC-BY or MIT licences, and each site lists them in its credits.
- No scripted intelligence. In the product, the questions, the brief and the code are written by a real model for each idea. Nothing is a fixed question bank or a fill-in template.
